Austria
A beautiful country steeped in culture, the birthplace of Mozart, waltz, Habsburg palaces, schnitzel, the famous chocolate cake called Sachertorte, with breathtaking sights and landscapes, it’s a lesser known option for a wedding abroad, but well worth considering! Hold your wedding in gorgeous capital city of Vienna (considered by many to be the most beautiful capital city in Europe), or Salzburg – the birthplace of Mozart, or for a more rural choice, head to the mountains or the countryside, famous for lush forests and spectacular landscapes – there is so much to do for both urban and country activities, you’ll be simply spoiled for choice.
