"I let you relax and be yourselves – I don’t stop what you’re doing, I don’t interrupt or get you to pose for the camera. And that means you get honest, natural and emotive photographs which let you remember your day in the years to come – just the way it was."
Sam photographs weddings throughout the UK and beyond frequently working in the Cotswolds, Somerset, Devon and Dorset.

I could not recommend Sam more highly. He captured the day and the atmosphere perfectly (literally didn't miss a second of it!). He is also a wonderful person to have around on the day; easy going, friendly and putting everyone at ease and making the whole process really fun whilst not letting the photos take over the day. Sam also really helped us with planning our day by making really helpful suggestions on timings and other suppliers. If you want beautiful, authentic and natural photos Sam is the man for you!

We recently flew from Australia to get married at River Cottage and we chose Sam as our photographer - and we are so glad we did!!! It honestly felt like we had another friend there on the day, Sam was so lovely! As I live in Australia, I had concerns about planning things internationally, but Sam was brilliant to communicate with and we had a great Skype meeting in the lead up to the wedding day. And the pictures are absolutely gorgeous, we couldn't be happier! Thanks for everything Sam!! :)

"Top shelf jazz", albeit in photographic form. Sam's efforts and the results were beyond anything we could have hoped for. Danke.

Excellent photographer, really went above and beyond.
Due to the quality of his work, Sam's understandably a very busy man, but you didn't get that impression from speaking to him. From the first time we met at a hipster-style coffee hangout in Bristol to the big day at River Cottage, he always came across as cool, calm and collected. For us, this translated as confidence (certainly not in a cocky way!), which helped to massively put our mind at ease. Even during the incredibly stressful build-up, talking on Skype with Sam just made everything feel so much better.
Sam was also extremely flexible with timing, which was very important for us as we'd planned everything from Myanmar (our home) and were unable to confirm the order of everything until relatively last minute.
In-between taking my wife's make-up photographs at the Dorset House (Lyme Regis), he somehow found the pay a quick visit to the Alexandra Hotel to snap photos of me. This involved Sam running up and down a VERY steep hill, all whilst lugging his heavy camera equipment around. I don't think he even broke a sweat!
A master with composition, flash and blending quietly into the background, Sam's the complete package and we would not hesitate to recommend.

If the ‘favourite’ button was a real button on the computer screen, it would have broken after all the pressing we did going through our gallery of wedding photos.
The father of the bride creasing up with laughter, the bride wiping away tears of joy, the groom mid-air (don’t ask!), oh-so cute images of the under-10s in their best clothes and of course the touching smoochy shots of us two… Every picture makes us grin.
Sam is a truly top photographer and it was a pleasure to have him at our wedding in April. No regrets!
